According to the report of Middle East Monitor, Gaza suffers $244 million in losses due to Israel bombs in recent fighting.

Gaza suffered a $16.7 billion loss, due to Israel’s military operations and the prolonged closure of Gaza between 2007 and 2018. According to the UN report

Hamas, the Palestinian resistance group is fighting for innocent people against the well-equipped Israeli forces. Despite the lack of equipment and other resources, the resistance group is doing great. As one of the spokesperson of the resistance group said, “This is not something new for Palestinian resistance that the ongoing combat is going to last longer.”

Israel once again doing the same act of terrorism as it was doing for decades. But this time, the pictures and video clips are coming out from the area brutally bombed by Israel. This is only possible due to some fine journalism and the efforts of honest journalists.

Israeli terrorism:

“I realized during the second Intifada what the Israeli Air Force and the Israeli military are doing are war crimes, terrorizing a population of millions of Palestinians.” Yonatan Shapira, a former Israeli soldier, and ex-pilot said. Middle East Monitor reported

Captain Yonatan Shapira had resigned from the Israeli army in 2003 at the height of the Palestinian Second Intifada.

He described the Israeli government and army as “terrorist organizations” run by “war criminals.”

He said, while living in the Zionist regime, you don’t know almost anything about Palestine, you don’t know about the ongoing oppression. After leaving the military, he also launched a campaign that encouraged other military members to disobey orders to attack Palestinians.

Every major media outlet including CNN, BBC News, Al Jazeera, New York Times, Middle East Monitor, Associated Press, Press TV, and many others have reported the ongoing state-level terrorism by Israel. Besides media reporting, the protests are also seen in every main Capital of the world. People protesting against the Israeli oppression.

The US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu an “ethno-nationalist leader”.

She said on the house floor, “The Israeli government and their far-right, ethno-nationalist leader Benjamin Netanyahu has legally razed Palestinian ancestral homes, leveled entire neighborhoods, and violently suppressed any resistance.”

When did the recent tension escalate?

It all began in the last days of the holy month of Ramadan when the Israeli Armed Forces entered the AL Aqsa Mosque on the holy night of the 27th Ramadan. They forcefully get out the worshipers and beat them using rubber bullets and also fire tear gas. They also damaged the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is one of the holiest mosques of the Muslims.

After the entrance of the Israeli armed forces into Al Aqsa Mosque, the resistance group, Hamas warned the zionist forces to leave the mosque. But the forces don’t let the worshippers pray into the mosque. Palestinians from all over the occupied regions started protesting against the Israeli forces.

Israel, Hamas combat:

Israel was using force to stop the protests and then started targeting what it says were the base camps of the resistance group and terrorizing the innocent people by destroying their homes, residential and media buildings in the Gaza strip.

“Israeli warplanes, artillery, and warships have launched more than 1615 raids and attacks since 10 May against homes, residential buildings, government headquarters, and the strip’s infrastructure, including roads, electricity, water, and sewage networks causing nearly $244 million in direct and indirect losses.” Middle East Monitor reported.

There were more than 4300 rockets fired by the resistance group from Palestine towards Israel until the ceasefire began. According to BBC News. Hamas also targets the Iron Dome air defense system, Ramon airport, chemical factory, and military bases all over Israel.

Hamas established an equation against Israeli aggression. A ‘Tit for tat’ formula. A spokesperson from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement says his group has well laid down the law of retaliation for bloody Israeli airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip by launching missile attacks on Tel Aviv.

“The resistance front has managed to establish an equation in the current round of confrontations under the theme of ‘shelling for shelling, city for city and missile for missile’.” Fawzi Barhoum, Palestine spokesperson told Iran’s Tasnim news agency.

He added, “When the resistance bloc entered the battle with the Zionist regime, it was familiar with its boundaries and mechanisms to control and manage it.”

Israeli forces considered the latest round of fighting with Hamas to be limited, so it waged a psychological war that the ongoing conflict will last long. But this time Hamas, with its improved rocket precision and extended range, shocked the Israeli military.

Barhoum said, “It is something unprecedented for the Zionist regime as it has suffered unlike first-time and severe blows since its inception, including the launch of 150 missiles on Tel Aviv within just three minutes.”

Hamas uses some new weapons including the Sejjil missiles, Ayyash missiles, unmanned submarines, and ‘Shihab’ suicide drones that surprise Israel in the recent conflict. The new Ayyash missile has a range of 250 km (155 miles) that can reach anywhere in Israel.

Israeli media also claimed that Hamas has built unmanned submarines that targeted an Israeli gas platform in the sea. The unmanned submarines are locally produced having built-in GPS and can carry 50 kg of explosives. According to Quds News Network

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson of Al-Qasam brigades (a strong militant group of Hamas) said, “There are no red lines when it comes to responding to the Zionist enemy.”

Damages on both sides:

After 11 days of fighting, both sides suffered losses.

Gaza has suffered $244 million in losses due to Israeli airstrikes. Israel bombed more than 8,247 homes, 57 schools, health facilities, and primary care clinics causing partial to severe damage. Israel also attacks industrial zones, factories, power networks including transformers and power lines. Besides these losses, there are also 243 civilians including 66 children and 39 women dead.

Israel also suffered $368 million in losses during the fighting. These losses were mainly due to the rockets fired from the resistant group. Al Jazeera reported.

The Manufacturers’ Association of Israel, which represents some 1500 firms and 400,000 workers, said the loss was mostly due to employees choosing to stay at home due to the nearly nonstop Palestinian rocket fire from Gaza. 13 people were killed from the Israeli side during the recent conflict.

The ceasefire began on 20th May at night when Israeli forces stopped bombing the Gaza people and started the truce.

General info about Israel, Hamas, Palestine:

Why did Israel attack Palestine in 2021?

There are different factors of the current Israeli attack on Palestine. One was the anticipated decision of the Supreme Court of Israel on the eviction of six Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah. The second factor was the entrance of Israeli armed forces into the Al-Aqsa mosque, which is one of the holiest mosques of the Muslims.

Why is Israel attacking Gaza?

The main factor of the Israeli attack on Gaza is the resistance group, Hamas firing rockets on Israel after the Israeli forces entered the Al-Aqsa mosque. First, Hamas warned Israel to withdraw from the holy site and when they didn’t, the resistance group began firing rockets.

Who actually owns the Gaza?

The Palestinian people are the actual owner of Gaza city and the Gaza Strip. But after the 1967 war, Israel held illegal control of the entrance points of Gaza and the Gaza Strip.

Did Hamas attack Israel?

Hamas never attacked Israel first. But they are just fighting as a resistance group to stop the illegal possession of Israel of their lands and their Holy sites.

Analysis:

Israel is doing the same thing in Palestine, it has been doing there for decades. Terrorizing innocent people and possessing their lands and homes illegally.

This time Hamas resist strongly and surprised the Zionist forces. Hamas used the new and advanced missiles having extended range and are more precise.
